FAQs
What is a sound massage?
A sound massage is a deep relaxation experience where Singing bowls and other instruments create vibrations that flow through your body. These sounds help release stress, calm the mind, and restore balance — like pressing a natural reset button.
How is a session structured?
We begin with a short chat to understand your needs. After that, you lie down (fully clothed, comfortably tucked in if you like). To help you let go of the day, I start with a gentle head massage — a simple way to relax and prepare your body for the sound journey. Then, I play the instruments on and around your body. We end with a few minutes to gently return, so you leave grounded and refreshed.
Do I need to bring anything?
Cushions, and blankets are provided — and so are the good vibes.
Who can benefit from sound therapy?
Anyone seeking rest, release, or reconnection. Whether you’re stressed, curious, emotionally overloaded, or simply longing for peace — sound therapy is a gentle way to come back to yourself.
Can sound massage cure my health problems?
No — sound massage is not a medical treatment and doesn’t replace professional care. But it can support your well-being, ease tension, and give you that “lighter, calmer, more centered” feeling many people are searching for.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Almost! Sound massage may not be recommended for people with pacemakers, epilepsy, or during the first trimester of pregnancy. Please inform me of any condition before your session.
What instruments do you use?
The heart of each session is Singing bowls, whose vibrations flow gently through the body. Depending on the protocol, I may add chimes, hardpan, gongs, or other acoustic instruments to enrich the experience. For the Sound Voyage, I also weave in subtle electronic layers — like synth textures and voice with effects such as reverb — creating a unique blend of acoustic depth and electronic atmosphere.
In what languages are the sessions available?
All sessions are offered in English and French. As I’m still new to Finland, I don’t speak Finnish yet — but sound, luckily, is a universal language.
How often should I come?
It’s completely up to you. Some enjoy weekly sessions for ongoing support, others once a month, and some only when life feels overwhelming. Follow your own rhythm.
